In this session, Jay Mitta, one of the core producers of Sisso Studios, the Dar es Salaam collective responsible for popularising singeli worldwide will start with a short introduction about himself, his music journey, and the essentials of singeli music. In the second part of the session, Mitta will give a live demonstration of how to create a Singeli track.
Requirements

The workshop is open to all levels of producers and music fans. If participants want to create a track, they will need to bring their own computer with music production software (Ableton, fruityloops etc), and headphones. People can also simply attend as listeners. Event Access

Please note that this will take place in Swahili, with simultaneous interpretation into English.
