Bringing together three distinctive voices from the worlds of improvised and experimental music, “Invisible Weather” explores the rich sonic possibilities that emerge at the intersection of acoustic and electronic sound. Elena Kakaliagou (French horn), Michael Thieke (clarinet), and Raed Yassin (electronics), create immersive performances that unfold through attentive listening, spontaneous interaction, and an expansive approach to timbre and texture.

Their music moves fluidly between fragile, almost inaudible gestures and dense, resonant soundscapes. Pulses and evolving patterns emerge, dissolve, and reconfigure, creating a sense of continuous movement without fixed direction. Electronics, clarinet, and French horn merge into a continuously shifting sonic environment where conventional instrumental roles dissolve, allowing unexpected harmonies, subtle noise, and evolving tonal colors to take center stage.

Drawing on backgrounds in free improvisation, contemporary music, and experimental practice, the trio embraces openness and risk, treating each performance as a unique encounter.
