MONDO MORRICONE is a live tribute to the obscure and cinematic worlds of Ennio Morricone - exploring rare themes from giallo, eurocrime, westerns and cult Italian cinema.
Performed by an 8-piece ensemble at Berlin’s intimate Morphine Raum, the evening will feature interpretations of Morricone’s lesser-known compositions in a one-night-only live recording session.
Expect haunted melodies, hypnotic rhythms, distorted romance and cinematic tension in a setting inspired by the atmosphere of 1960s and 70s European film culture.
