Marta, celebrated for her bold exploration of sound, recently premiered her project Still Life With Lemonsas a composer at Bimhuis’s 50th birthday celebration. She teams up with her longtime collaborator Yedo Gibson, a remarkable improviser on soprano and tenor sax, known for his raw and deeply personal approach, as well as his role in the electrifying trio Move. Joining them is Sofia Borges, whose engaging electroacoustic solo work highlights her unique perspective and artistry as a musician. Their shared history fosters a deep musical rapport, yet this new formation is set to push the boundaries of real-time music creation in exciting and unexpected ways.
