Join us for a special evening celebrating the release of Eternal Ghost, the haunting new album by artist and musician Raed Yassin. Known for his genre-defying sonic explorations, Yassin delivers a deeply atmospheric and emotionally charged work that blurs the boundaries between experimental music, hauntology, no wave, and minimalism. Eternal Ghost unfolds as a meditation on memory, disappearance, and spectral presence, weaving minimalist structures with evocative textures and shifting sonic landscapes. For this release concert, Yassin will perform the album live in an immersive setting, offering audiences the chance to experience the full intensity and nuance of this powerful new work.
As an opening act Diana Miron will perform her solo piece Monstera for voice, violin, viola and tape. Monstera explores the deep interconnectedness between humans and plants through their shared environments. By carefully observing plants during their water absorption phase with close-range microphones, the artist discovered subtle rhythmic patterns. These rhythms shift noticeably when humans interact with the plants—touching a leaf or twig disrupts and alters the sounds emitted by the roots during hydration. Processed textures of wood and human voice enrich this dialogue between plant and person, between self and body. Rooted in the idea of refuge, Monstera suggests a path to restored clarity—an invitation to return to the present moment, where the self becomes an island and sanctuary.
