Carla Boregas presents a first compositional study of “Zona Morta”, a new sound piece based on women’s secrets. Departing from a sonic archive on tape of more than 70 secrets that she has recorded/collected since 2016, the composition reflects on the alterity embedded in the process of listening.

At this event, Boregas will also share the compositional research process that was developed as part of her fellowship with Morphine Raum, supported by the Weltoffenes Berlin program.
