to intervene the body
to prevent it from
normal
functioning
to cut - to break - to displace
to walk along sharp edges in search of
a way out of itself
a possibility
a breaking point

Paula Sanchez is a musician working with sound in the intersection of experimental music, improvisation and performance art. Putting the body and materials to the limit, in the destruction, composition/decomposition of a mutable sound space. In the pure presence, of an embodied sound that invents relations as it makes its way into nothingness.

She made her musical studies at the National University of San Juan in Argentina and a Masters in Performance specialized in Free Improvisation with Fred Frith and Alfred Zimmerlin at Musik Akademie of Basel in Switzerland 2018-2020.

Currently she’s studying Soundart at the Master’s program in Contemporary Arts Practice at HKB Bern’s University in Switzerland.
