Berlin is a melting pot of international artists who come together to share ideas and create works unique to this city. The trio of Portuguese drummer/percussionist Sofia Borges, Japanese pianist Rieko Okuda and Canadian saxophonist Peter Van Huffel is a collaborative project born within and from the energy of the Berlin experimental music scene, merging three individual voices who collectively work to develop a sonic atmosphere of improvised sound through spontaneous connection and communication. Their individual and contrasting backgrounds provide the landscape for their joint explorations on the musical stage, each performance as
unique as the next.
